What Are Mozzarella Sticks Good With?

Mozzarella sticks can go with various dips. The most popular, though, is the so-called marinara sauce. It’s really the perfect pair for these little guys. Plus, you can also make this sauce at home in just a matter of minutes.

If you do not want the marinara sauce, you can eat your mozzarella sticks with ketchup, plum sauce, tomato, honey mustard, barbecue sauce, as well as ranch dressing or mayonnaise.

Other Tips

To achieve best results, mozzarella sticks should be coated well in flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs so they will be thick enough to hold the cheese inside. Or, if you have more time, you can actually put them in the fridge or freezer for a couple of hours before frying. You can even make them ahead of time, keep them in the freezer, and fry whenever you feel like it.

When frying, do not keep the mozzarella sticks in the oil for more than 30 seconds to ensure that the cheese won’t get burnt.
