Long Island Iced Tea
Long Island Iced Tea…..Anyone who never had this drink before would think that it is an iced tea. But really, it’s NOT! It doesn’t contain iced tea at all.
So, what is it?
First of all, it is an alcoholic beverage (cocktail), best served during the summer season. But, of course, you can enjoy it at any time of the year. In a nutshell, it’s a mixture of gin, triple sec, light rum, vodka, and tequila with a splash of cola. That’s exactly the reason why it has the same color as its namesake.
It’s a great drink, but be careful as it is stealth as well. It goes down easy, enough for you not to feel the alcohol content at first. But oh boy, they can sneak on you when you least expect it! So you better take it easy when drinking this type of cocktail.
Making Long Island Iced Tea at Home

Closing Thoughts
There you go with the famous Long Island Iced Tea recipe…
As you can see, though, this drink here has four different spirits in a single glass. So I would like to reiterate, be careful if you don’t want to end up with a terrible hangover. You won’t feel the booze while you are drinking it. But sooner or later, you will feel the effects. The trick is, take your time. Do not rush in having your second glass. Just enjoy every sip!
