Avocado Toast With Egg
Breakfast is important. We all know that. But really, your first meal of the day doesn’t have to be extravagant. What matters most is that it is nutritious enough to keep you going.
As they always say, simple things are often the best. One good example of a simple breakfast meal is avocado toast with egg paired with your favorite morning drink like milk, hot choco, coffee, tea, or fruit juice. This is something that you can make in just a few minutes before you go to work or school.
What Is an Avocado Toast?
As the name implies, this is a toast with mush avocado or slices sprinkled with salt and pepper, drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice, and finally topped with either sunny side up, poached or hard-boiled egg. Sounds very simple, right? It is, but mind you, an avocado toast with an egg is so delicious, just perfect to start a brand new day!
Do you know something else that you can do to add more flavor to your toast? Rub it with garlic. I mean, literally! This is a trick that a lot of chefs are doing. And for good reasons, too.

Is Avocado Toast With Egg Good for You?
It is VERY good for you. With the toasted wheat bread alone, you will get to enjoy some health benefits. It is high in fiber, so it supports weight loss. It can also help lower the risk of stroke, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, and premature death. All of which are backed by science. Because of its fiber content, you can expect it to help proper digestion as well. According to studies, whole grains work great in reducing chronic inflammation, too.
The avocado, on the other hand, is also chock-full of nutrients. It is incredibly nutritious! And just like whole-grains, it has lots of fiber as well, so that right there makes it weight loss-friendly. Plus, it contains monounsaturated fatty acids, which are definitely good for the heart.
What about the egg? Well, it is one of the best sources of high-quality protein and it can help raise the levels of ‘good cholesterol’. It will make you feel full, which is another advantage if you are trying to lose weight.
Looking at the health benefits of the ingredients, you can clearly tell that an avocado toast with egg is, indeed, good for you.
