  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Category: Coffee

Very easy, right? It’s exactly what the name suggests, ‘iced coffee’. It’s something that you can make in less than 5 minutes with your eyes closed. Seriously!

Other Tips

Black coffee is healthy as it is. But you should not be afraid to add other things to it, particularly the cream and sugar. Your iced coffee can be a lot healthier by using nonfat milk or fat-free half & half. As for the sugar, you can always utilize a low-calorie or no-calorie sweetener. Or, to replace both, look for flavored cream instead.

How to Make Simple Syrup

Do you prefer syrup with your coffee? There’s nothing to worry about since you can easily make syrup at home, too. All you need to do is to boil 1/2 cup water and 1/2 granulated sugar until the sugar is fully dissolved. Easy peasy!

The ‘Long-Cut’

If you want your iced coffee to be stronger, you may opt to use coarse coffee grounds. Boil one cup of coarse coffee grounds in 3 to 4 cups of water, and leave it overnight. It should be ready the following morning.

After the coffee has steeped overnight, filter it, and follow the same steps above.
