Chia pudding is one of the easiest treats that you can whip up in your own kitchen. With only 5 ingredients, you can make it anytime. But most importantly, it is very healthy. You can have it for breakfast, dessert, or even as a snack!
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
2 teaspoons of maple syrup
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
a pinch of kosher salt
***berries, fruit slices, or nuts for serving (optional)
- Combine chia seeds with milk, maple syrup (or any sweetener of your choice), vanilla, and salt in a medium bowl. Mix well.
- Cover and put in the fridge for at least 2 hours. You can also refrigerate it overnight, which would be much better.
- Serve with your choice of mix-ins and toppings.
You can replace the maple syrup with either honey or agave nectar.
