1 cup instant espresso

1/2 cup low-fat milk

1 teaspoon sugar


  1. Make the instant espresso.
  2. Pour milk into a mason jar, but make sure not to fill it up all the way so there will be room for the milk to froth up.
  3. Put the lid and shake the jar for about 30 seconds.
  4. Take the lid off and put the jar in the microwave. Heat for about 45 seconds.
  5. Pour the instant espresso into a mug. Stir in sugar and add the frothy milk.


Cappuccino can be topped with cinnamon or cocoa powder. Aside from low-fat milk, you can also utilize skim milk.
