Description
This recipe makes irresistible Mexican chicken tacos that will surely surprise the entire family, leaving them begging for more!
Ingredients
1 lb. chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 tbsp. olive oil
juice of 2 limes
12 mini corn tortillas
1/3 cup sweet onion (finely chopped)
avocado (diced)
tomatoes (diced)
cucumber (diced)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook batches of chicken until golden brown. Let the meat cool down before cutting into bite-size pieces.
- Serve chicken in corn tortillas and top with sweet onions, tomatoes, as well as dices of avocado and cucumber.
Notes
If you want your tacos to be spicy, you can add jalapeno pepper. The chicken can also be baked or grilled.
