Description
These fluffy pancakes slathered in butter and syrup makes every morning more exciting. Add some eggs or a bowl of mixed fruits on the side, a hot drink, and you’d have a winner breakfast!
Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup melted butter
3/4 cup of milk
1 large egg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Using a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and shortening/melted butter. Stir into the dry ingredients until the mixture is smooth.
- Ladle 1/4 cupfuls of the mixture and pour into a hot, greased skillet on medium heat.
- Make sure that both sides are brown.
- Serve hot.
Notes
When you see bubbles forming on top of the pancakes, that’s a signal to turn them over. It is best to serve when they are still hot, enough to melt the butter.
