With this classic chicken salad sandwich that you can make in just 10 minutes, you no longer have to resort to takeout meals. Plus, it is much healthier!
Ingredients

2 c. chicken (cooked/roasted)
1/2 c. blanched slivered almonds
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 stalk raw celery
whole-wheat bread (for serving)
lettuce (for serving)
Instructions
- Toast almonds in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Combine chicken, mayonnaise, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add almonds and celery.
- Serve with bread and lettuce.
Notes
Be very careful when toasting the almonds as they burn easily.
