Lemon Butter Scallops
Many people are hesitant to buy scallops because let’s admit it, they are kinda expensive and also very tricky to cook. But if you ask me, this type of seafood is actually worth having because it is delicious and is a great source of lean protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Scallops contain omega-3 fatty acids, which help in regulating cholesterol levels as well as in reducing oxidative stress on the heart and improving red blood cell count. In short, eating this species of saltwater clam is very beneficial for the cardiovascular system.
Furthermore, adding scallops to your daily diet will help your muscles heal faster. They are also considered as an energy booster, plus you can benefit from them if you are aiming to lose weight. Studies show that this seafood can also help promote better cognitive functions. They can aid in balancing your hormones, too.
