Honey Garlic Chicken
There are so many dishes that you can make with chicken. Unlike pork and beef, it cooks faster. Not to mention that it is much healthier since it is white meat.
So what’s a good chicken recipe that you can make for lunch? Well, you might want to try honey garlic chicken. You can utilize thighs, breasts, or even wings. What matters most is how you make the sauce, which is a combination of honey, garlic, soy sauce vinegar, and water. The result would be your next favorite. That’s for sure!
One good thing about honey garlic chicken is that it can be made in less than an hour. If you intend to eat it for lunch at work, it is no hassle to make it in the morning before you head out. And there’s no way you can mess up putting the ingredients together to come up with a delicious, sweet, and garlicky sauce. You will also get to enjoy watching it especially when the sauce starts to bubble as it cooks and gets thick.
If you have leftover sauce, you can even drizzle some over rice or steamed vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, potatoes, and many more. Adding veggies will, of course, make your lunch meal a lot healthier.

This dish can be eaten on its own. You can also have veggies on the side. Or, if you want to eat it Asian-style, serve it over rice. Either way, it is going to be soooo good!
If you intend to use chicken breasts, it is highly recommended that you slice them into thick strips to make sure that they will cook easily and evenly. Thighs are also good because they are tender and they don’t dry out easily while on high heat.
