Description

Vanilla pudding is a mouthwatering dessert as it is. Top it with fresh fruits, gingerbread cookie, double chocolate chip, caramel crunch, pumpkin pie, or chocolate peanut butter, just to mention a few, and your taste buds will surely rejoice!

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups of milk

3 tbsp cornstarch

1/2 cup white sugar

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Heat milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Wait until bubbles start to form.
  2. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl. Mix with the hot milk and make sure that the dry ingredients get dissolved well.
  3. Once the mixture thickens, remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter.
  4. Chill before serving.

Notes

Make sure not to have the milk boil. Top the vanilla pudding with any topping that you desire.
