What Is Vanilla Pudding?
To those of you who haven’t had vanilla pudding yet, and have no idea what it is, read on and learn more.
Simply put, vanilla pudding is a milk-based custard-like dessert. Cornstarch is used to thicken it. You can add more stuff to it in order to elevate its flavor and make it more sophisticated.
Pudding vs. Custard
Just to clarify, pudding and custard have similarities, particularly the appearance, but they are actually different. The main difference is that custard uses eggs as a thickening agent. Pudding, on the other hand, requires cornstarch or flour.
Also, if you take a closer look at the two, you will realize that custard is thicker. But these are two delicious desserts that you can have any time.
