How to Achieve Crispy, Roasted Chickpeas

The number one rule is to drain the chickpeas really well. You can use a strainer for this purpose. And as you can see in the instructions above, putting the garbanzo beans in the heated oven for up to 10 minutes before adding the oil and salt and finally baking them will help ensure that they will get crispy later on.

Another trick is to get rid of the skins. This can be time-consuming, but it’s an excellent way to have crispier chickpeas.

Also, avoid too much seasonings as this can also affect the crunchiness of your snack. It is important that you allow them to cool and breathe out after baking.
